my cam belt snapped and fuked my valves up on my corsa b, 1.2 8V, and so i tried for ages to find a whole new head as it would be easier... and i found a matching head but its for a 1.3, but its got a slightly bigger inlet thats it.....

would this make any difference to performance???
and would anything have to be changed for this to work properly?

cheers

Compression would change no doubt.

Do they actually line up?

If you have it just look to make sure all the right attachments are in the right places.

Big inlet ports?

As long as the oil and water ports line up and it a very very good fit, then it should be fine. Will get a bit more Torque becuase of the bigger inlet ports.

yeh mate its exactly the same head, the only one he had that matches up, tried it against the gasket and its all fits. The wholes are slightly i mean a little bigger.

Apart from that its the same.

More torque? Cool.

Cheers ppl

Personally I would have thought peak power would improve cause it can flow more but torque may reduce or stay the same due to lower gas speed.
