No, the corsa chassis is quite strong. Much stronger than the novas hence why the cors can take the engine so well.
IMagine that engine now, in a car half the size.

if ur mates worried about the weight does he know that he can prob increase the horse power on his i've been quoted a new 1.6 for my corsa c and he said with throttle bodies and re mapped ecu and other trick bits he can get it well over 160 bhp almost 180 which is fin fast in a light car

IM sure u never got that quote seeing as they dont do a 1.6 for the Corsa C
Oh, yeah, the above, 1.6 16v on Throttle Bodies with over 160bhp, ur looking at about £3000 minimum!!

No, they DO NOT do a 1.6 in the Corsa C. Listen to us
1.4 and 1.8 16v models.
£1500 what for Throttle bodies too lmfao.
£1500 would prob get u the engine and it fitted from a company. Thats it.

Yeah, understandable, but that wont include throttle bodies. A basic TB setup will cost £2k on its own.

Well he was lying or i'd take him up on it and get him to write it down
£Im sorry, but £1500 will not get u a 1.6 16v engine running over 160bhp fitted.

Ims reu he is very clever, but thats still not the point. He wouldn't make any money at all.
An engine is going to cost £400 min.
TB £1600, + fitting, + setting up
Engine conversion, well, a company will prob charge around £400+, plus they will ahve to convert everythign from hydrolic to wire (as the 1600's are not designed that way).
£1500 fro a 1.6 conversion into a C at 160+bhp IS NOT going to happen
