this is along the lines of what i want
ok its 10,000 BUT its got huge rims, leather, electric everything, pretty fast and it dont need much more than 2k spent on it to get it how id like it
so thats 12k all in, and id not loose much money on it..........

A 92k motor with the old M50 engine is not worth 10 large.

I know if everyones selling them for that price then theres nothing you can do, but I wouldn't describe it as a bargin would you? I think a lot of the old BMW's are overpriced. I reckon mines worth about 7K without adding the BMW badge price jump. I've seen worse cars than mine going for 10K so I think 9K is a fair price for what it is.
The lines of the coupe roof make it look so good, the cab just looks like a long box with wheels.

im going thru my "i want a convertable" stage
if they are keeping their price then surely its a good sign, id rather buy a car which will hold a better value for when i come to sell it, if they were dropping 100s each month then it would be worth naff all in 3 years time (far less then the BMW)
whats services like? im used to doing everything myself, i supose they cost a lot to run?
what do u think insurance will be like at 21 (may next year ready 4 summer) got a choice of a 1.8 - m3 modles, want summit quite nippy but affordable to run
will pay 10k for a good one, not bothered by year but must be leather and probs top of range goodies
