Hi lads and ladies. Trying to strat my own policy and have phoned round a little.

I am 18, 0 no claims and have been driving 1 year 4 months.

The car is a Vauxhall Corsa Sport 1.4 16V 1996 P reg.

So far.
CIS £2500
Liverpool Victoria £1700
Elephant £1300

Anybody recomend any more companies. Is it worth waiting till November 1st when I am 19 years old?

Cheers

Not really worth waiting until 19, decent age is 21 and then 25. I doubt your get it for much less than £1300 to be honest.

Elephant was the lowest quote I could get when I bought my own car after Uni......they quoted £700 on a 1.6 Sport, whereas most other places wanted over £1k (with Royal Sun Alliance claiming their quote of £2,400 would be impossible to beat )
