hey, early this morning i recieved 3 points for going thru a red light (stupid i know!), so this is now 6 points on my license as i got caught speeding a bit since. i hav only been driving since november so i know that i hav my license taken off. will i get a ban of 12months, or do i just hav to retake my test again.

im thinkin i just hav to retake the test, however that is like a 10week wait and how the fcuk do you pass your test after driving like a boyracer for the past 8months! cos is it right that u cant even have any lessons b4 the test as i will be sort of banned?

cheers guys, and o yeah, god knows what insurance is going to be.......hmmm, let me see - 17yr old, wrote off a 4000quid corsa, 6 points on license, banned, and drive a saxo VTR!

You might even get a ban & have to re-take your test mate, sometimes they can be well harsh!!

Might teach you stop driving like a boyracer though??

Scroll down to number 6, I don't think you'll get a ban, you just need to do you theory & practicle again.

you can drive, but you would have to have someone who drives, 21+ and has had 3 years experience or something?

cheers willay. so its pretty simple then. wait for the points to be added (this is probably the day i loose the license), then i just ring up and become a provisional driver again. fcukin ell, this is going to cost abit isnt it. cos will i ahve to pay for a new license and then its like 90quid for a test and then a theory! just wait till my parents come back from holiday 2moro, theyre going to kill me, probably end up selling my car!

As long as you get a provisional, then you'll be able to be a learner again.

"what to do next ???"

I'd say a ban will do you good, you've been driving less than a year and you've already wrote a car and got 6 points, no wonder drivers under 21 have to pay so much for insurance!!.

you should be run over by your own car as punishment for running a red light. why the hell would you do that? sure, we all speed a little occassionally, but theres no excuse for jumping a red light. hope you fail your test many times and it costs you a mint to insure you paxo

I can honestly say, that after writing my cars off 4 times

I've never been caught speeding, jumping a red light or nufin like that, although insurance is something like £2400 for a 1 litre corsa

Just think about your driving m8, chill, play some slow songs in your car, you may drive slower, worked 4 me

Good luk with the insurance m8
