Go on MIGWeb and PM SimonP (the guy with the V6 Astra cab). His V6 engine was originally from an auto Cav. He'll be able to tell you what you need. Not a hard job I don't think, just need manual box and engine wiring loom & ECU for the manual variant.
Cars...
mk2 Astra GTE
mk3 Astra GSi
mk3 Cavalier GSi
Not sure if any other cars had the XE in it.

Ask Simon...... ROFL! When we fitted it we did it in 48 hours. The gearbox is now a F25. The important bit though is that we still used the original ECU.

The loom is different between an auto and manual, as I am told it has extra 'connections' for the auto gearbox.

No Sam it's not Not sure I know you dut I'm Dave (Nova-X ) We're just spreading the word of what Vaux-MD is all about. Plus with all my years modding Vauxs I hope I can help a few people out. You're quite right about the loom but Phil still used it and just ignored the auto box bits.

Ahh hello Dave!
I'm Smooth Groover off MIGWeb, you bought my old Corsa headrests off me if you remember?
So I take it that it was you guys that did the conversion on SimonP's car?
