standard ones are probably the best option in terms of price and performance on a 1.0.

cut 2 holes in the floor and use ur feet to stop the car  (only problem with this method and the amount of shoes u will get through  ) !!!

best to upgrade to calipers which hold vented discs, if u still have 13's then go for the 236mm vented type, if u have bigger than 13'2 go for 256mm vented type. these are much better ( and cheaper) than any performance solid discs.
