Well, jsut speaking to one of the people sorting it who has informed me only FOUR people have paid to be on the stand.

Sorry, but that is pathetic. Even in 2001 when we had a stand we had around 30 cars.

What is wrong with you all??? The BEST show of the year without a dobut and no-one wants to go.

What is this website coming too You should all feel ashamed.

But Donny is nothing compared to Trax.

Trax =

Walk round teh biggest collection of modified cars in the whole country, LOADS of trade stands (i.e the whole start finish straight behined the pits!!!!), fairground rides.

When u've spent 4 odd hours looking at all the thousands of cars, if you get bored, you can go and watch the 0-60 runs, and even better, plonk yourself on the bank or in the stands and watch all teh sklines, evos, scoobies (scoobies are quite commen at trax), porsches, Supras, Corsas, Nova, Fiestas, everythign just ragging it round the track.

Its a complete day out (should be two days imo) and makes Doncaster *(the offical Donny show) look like a small meeting.

All the Donny events are organised by the same company and are therefore, all official.

I understand what you mean, the Doncaster show is the ORIGINAL, but it's not the best - all them Northern Monkeys...

Donny South/Essex is a good day - drag strip, laid back attitude, etc.

Gentlemen, not here please.

But back on topic, yes - where are the orders??! This is a very very good show, my personal favourite of the year yet so far this is the weakest response I've seen from CS?

We've pretty much got 1 week to confirm with the organisers how many cars we'll be showing so if you want to come, I need cheques in the post ASAP!!

I used to tell all corsa owners i saw at southend, cruises about CS. Sorted the Rolling Road day featured in mag for Corsasport. Quite a few Bluewater meets, used to have stickers on the car, Performance Vauxhall day stand, etc. Just a few of the things. Financially, no, i haven't contributed to the site. I dont want a garage as i have a website. Simple for me, hard for you to understand i take it?

Agreed!

Moderators don't pay for Premium Membership but I like to think that we (well, most of us) spend enough time and effort on other aspects to balance this out
