not really 170 seems about right and with raising the rev limit wont u consider uprating the rods? Woulding really consider raising it above 7500 really

if you have splitfire plugs they will add 10hp
p.s I doubt you;ll need the FSE valve if your mapped with a unichip. also the BMC is restrictive. I would probably suggest 175hp

I believe some SBD kits do have cold start, depending on application.
dBilas are ok for some, others prefer the typical TB setup.
Weber Alpha as used on John Shield's Nova in the Clarkson vs Henderson video.

fearless - had a few differnt types and carbs
u2u them all tell them your spec, and what u use the car for ie everyday us etc
and see how they comment

Webber-Alpha TBs aren't really that rated as far as I know. I was advised to steer clear. SBD's TB's taper TBs are very well matched for that engine, and would be my first choice. As for ECU, MBE (as supplied by SBD) is well thought of, but there others such as GEMS (what I use) and Motronic (a bit dearer, but very fast processors and very responsive). The important thing is that whatever ECU you buy, you get someone who REALLY knows the system to do your mapping. Hope this helps.
