I know we can all edit our own posts, but don't you think it would be a good idea if we could also edit all posts that have been made in a thread written by ourselves? We already have full control over existence of the post so can choose to keep it or delete it but sometimes, just deleting one persons stupid post would be enough.

What do people reckon.

No, I absolutely disagree with this. By editting another persons comments you are removing their right to free speech. You create the post and therfore have the right to delete it, But this right should not extend to amending comments made by other users.

I agree to a certain extent. In my humble opinion I believe it would be most satisfactory to have control on deleting any posts delivered into a thread made by the creator. This should be amde common practice as it will help to keep the threads clean and free of porn and such filth. I do not believe we should have the right to edit peoples posts as this will be a disaster waiting to happen.

also patrick i think that if u edit sum1s post they will make another thread of their own n say what they wanted to say in that thread,therefore causin loadsa pointless threads n mods will be upto their eyes in editing n deleting, bad idea,not thought out properly mate

i think you should be able to remove indavidual posts if they fall out of context. but it could also (depending on topic) just be moved to off day.
but i for one agree it should be done.
