This distance the face of the hub is from the centre of the wheel yes..

what would be the correct offset. ive got a corsa b, and lowered 40mm i think. lowered b4 i got it.

et 49 in the corsa offset, so try and stick as close to this as poss. Anything below et 40 and you might get some problems mate. Hope this helps in your search for the perfect wheel!
