is it not that thing where ya have to go into contol panel to stop them?
control panel - admin tools - services - messenger - right click it - change to start up type = disabled - then right clcik - STOP

same here, den u get the add savin 2 stop these annoying pop-ups go 2 endadds.com u go there n it costs 30 odd quid!
