Does anybody know the figures for these, drivin a n/a and it was brilliant. But goin to have a look at a Turbo 2morrow. How much difference is there?

Im looking at the turbo's atm... I think I can wangle it... its a BIG power increase though... repaires and maintence are VERY expensive tho

Yeah thats what i was worried about, would have to get one from an import centre with a good warranty IMO

rev 3 is 240hp I believe... your talking like 80 more than the n/a ... more backend activity... who does your mother insure with?

Bell direct are over 21's only as far as I'm aware.
Rev 1+2 Turbos are 0-60 in 5.8 and about 150 top end.
Rev 3 onwards are 0-60 in 5.2 and 162 top end.

Yeah, im not even sure if im gonna change yet. Still happy with the BMW but had a good offer for it! Mite see if i can get a newer n/a, facelift model or somethin!

rev3 n/a is pretty good... still 0-60 in sub 8... good pull through the rev range.. muchos cheaper to insure

i driven the turbo.
very nice engines. getting in and out of the car takes about 10mins if u around 6ft.

i had the tail out a couple of times in the wet.

but the one i drove really needed a good servicing, was standing for quite a long time.

Yeah i looked at a P reg one yesterday, twas very nice. Have tested a few K plarters and they were fast enough. Mite just get another newer beemer tho!

My mum wants it now, tis my uncle thats sellin it, bought it off one of his mates for £3.5K. Only done 40k and is spotless!
