not really just cleans the crap out ya engine and it feels like it will give you more, but its just the engine running as it should

Best things for your car:
Have regular services, and change your oil at least twice or three times a year
Spray carb cleaner into the throttle body
If you are mechanically minded, whip the cylinder head off and give it a good clean, so that there are no carbon deposits, etc.
Maybe even have your injectors ultrasonically cleaned too
