Honestly i think the book 0-60 speed on these are 18-19secs but serriously they are like 14secs.

Ok their minging, my m8 has been driving his mothers around for a year now and all hes done is chucked a k&n pannel filter and chucked on 15s lol

He told me the other week it can do 60mph in 2nd gear, i laughed in his face. He told me to jump in his car then, there he was doing 60mph in 2nd lol!

These must be the fastest 1.0s i swear lol.

the diehatsu (or how ever u spell it) charade GTTI is the fastest 1.0L 3 cylinder turbo, i think it does 0-60mpg in like 8 secs

yea they're about 60bhp iirc, so should leave the 1.2 8v behind.

Welsh SXi, shut the hell up. Micras are Slow with a capital S. As for doing 60 in 2nd, big fucking deal, it takes about 20 seconds to get there. Mine does it in 9.

i had a micra S 1.0 16v has a curtesy car for 3 month,there quicker than the corsa 1.0 12v by a long way but there still slow,suppose they ain't bad for a 1.0,but they look terrible

I know they are minging, i was just pointing out that their quite quick for 1litres and no its not 20secs, take 5-6 secs off that easily.

well a corsa 1.0 does 0-60 in about 18/19 seconds and like i said the micra is a lot quicker so i agree with you welsh_sxi ithink they'd be arond the 15 second mark to 60

where talking book figures,a 1.0 12v is listed as 19 seconds(i use to own 1) and yes the do 53mph in second,75 in third,95 in forth had 102 in fith,but its how long it takes to get there aswell

the problem with the 12 valve engine is that it only has 3 cyclinders which means it produces less torque than if it was for cyclinder,there ain't a big difference in 0-60 and top speed between the 1.2 8v(45bhp) corsa and the 1.0 12v(55bhp)
