Got some defender window film. The side windows r a doddle but i've wasted 2 rolls on the back 1. Does anyone kno how to get it ot curve round the glass properly or have any tips on how to do it? Side ones look like they've been done by a pro. Tried heat shrinking it with a hair dryer. Not very effecive but.

try cutting the film by placing it on the outside of the glass, this will make sure you have the correct size. Remember to cut it the correct way round and use water on the glass.
False ecomony DIY imo,cus the film is thinner and shite.

I hav been cutting it on the outside. It can be cut perfect but because of the curvature of the glass a flat bit of tint will never fit perfectly.

Best get it done by a pro, its worth saving the extra money for the top finish. You can tell most times too.
