Well, due to my in-decision as to what to do with my life at the mo, and the fact i've been living 3 months without a job, i thought i'd pop down bluewater shopping park to get me a job to tide me over.
Popped into a few stores, River Island, USC, Republica etc. All ahd to fill in forms.
Walked into Ted Baker, wheyyy heeeyyy, got offered a job. Had my first day today, my word, the retail industry sucks even more than the IT industry Just u get bugger all pay.
Bonus, i can collect a new wardrobe of Ted Baker clothing for pretty cheap, so its not all bad.
But, if u need a quick easy, stand around job, go work in a cloths shop

Errr, point Thomas? U gonna come in and start? Im not to arsed if i loose it, i'll jsut get another job at bluewater. Dumb arse
Icy, nope, seriously not impressed with my last firm. Worked hard, wrote user manuals, setup all their remote access and VPNs into the office. They hired another guy who could do my job + all the server work. Just before teh end of my 6 month probation, they said they didn't need me any more. Was NOT happy, but being on my probation couldn't do a thing

I work in argos,
Only do weekends, but it pays for things i need, and its useful as i get paid weekly,
I agree when i first went into the retail industry it was quite bland, but after 2 years now, i really enjoy it,
within 9 months of working there i was made weekend Team leader, so all i do now is sit in the office, work out peoples pay give them it, and cash up the weeks takings on the sunday

Which one is that,
i work in a store, Argos Newbury,
Argos as a whole pay quite well,
if your working in disribution, you will be given a ULC (Unit load carrier) like the cages you see in tescos which their stock comes in. Then you will be given a stock list, this will tell you where to go in the warehouse, and what to get with the quanties, really its just like shopping for somone, just on a massive scale,

My exact point for getting a job. Some money is better than no money.
WE get bonuses of £150 per month if we hit our targets too. I am on £5 per hour (just a litttttttlllllllle bit of a drop ), but then i also get commission on other things too.
