Kinda sounds crazy or stupit or whatever.
But has anyone here got a real fear of getting old, not knowing if you'll wake up in the morning n stuff like that???
I know, folk will laugh at this or whatever, and act all hardy hardy not give a fcuk attitude, but i thot it would kinda be interesting as such to talk about.
Personally, i fear it like fuck all on earth. Just cant bear to think that one day i'll lose someone that means more than the world to me, or that they'll lose me.
Dont mean to put a dampner on the board or whatever, just thot i'd see what yous have got to say, other than the usual shit on general chat.
Cheers in advance peeps.

Well, i hope its normal. Dont want to think that i'm the only one that fears getting old and so on. But as i said, i've heard so many folk that honestly couldnt care. Whether that be a way of hiding their feelings or not is a different story.

its just best not to think about it really. it can screw ur mind up if u think about it in too much depth.

At last, folk that aint scared to say what they feel!
Just so hard to think that as your days beome limited, one day, you may never wake back up. What happens?? Is that it?? No further feeling, thought, view etc??? Just dead?
Dont think its the pain as such involved in dying that scares me, more the pain caused by dying to others, or the pain involved when someone so close dies.
Kinda really unsettles me, to think that 80 years from now, i wake up one morning but my partner of those 80 odd years doesnt.
I dont know, kinda crazy topic, but in a way i thought it would kinda help some folks to clear up that they aint the only folk that feel the same way or whatever.

Within a short period of time, i lost an aunt and uncle both to cancer.
Kinda still havent got over my aunt dying. Other than the burial, i havent been to the cemetry. Dont think i could handle it, but this week, i'm going to it. Need to be strong over it all as hard as it is.
Talking about this kinda stuff can be painful, however not talking about it can be just as hurtful.

the main reason i did long course RE even though im not religous at all was cos stuff like this really interests me. Other people's views etc and me trying to form my own, when i blatently have no idea. What about ghosts/angels etc? I know some people close to me who have said they have seen them, and my mum had an out of body experience when she gave birth to my sister, cos she almost died (she weighed just over 2lbs). My cousin was also in a coma for 3 weeks, had the last rites read to her and then she suddenly recovered, but she told me she knew everything that was going on, but just couldnt respond to it. How scary must that be, having a vicar or whatver reading the last rites to you?!

I think everybody has a fear of dying..
No one can say honestly I don't give a damn if I die.....
I don't want to die and yes what happens in the afterlife???? If anything at all...
And the dream where you are falling u will always wake b4 you hit the ground.Guarenteed...I used to get it too sometimes...
And Aliba u planning on living a long life eh????? 80 odd years from now...
