make sure u use a piece of card under screwdriver as u dont wanna scratch paintwork

but in the haynes manual it says if your having trouble with the drivers side its some fucking charcoal canister in the way and to remove the inner arch and i cant be arsed

are you prising it out from the right side? the side nearest the front wheel?
Universal repeaters won't fit the drivers side and Atra Mk4 ones will struggle cos of the charcoal canister thing behind it - but this won't affect you pulling it off - just lever it t the left then lift out - easy job.

Remove the rubber O-ring from the bulb holder and the Mk4 Astra repeaters will fit perfect.

i got the mk4 astra ones to fit perfect, didnt remove nefin! look the best imo!
