know someone that tried to take an overdose and failed. ended up in therapy for a very long time.
also know someone that slit their wrists and succeded.
personally, i would jump from a tall building !!!

But what makes people do it? I just can't understand why. I know someone who tried it at 12. She took a load of tabs and when she was asked why she said she had period pains???

if you dont know why then its a good thing because it shows you've never been down enough to do it.

wots getting ur blood took got to do with killing yaself?
there are many other means to do it than slashing ya wrists / neck
ya could go play on a motorway

This is true... you have to be experiencing some real bad times to wanna do this... eg being 40 stone and having to 5hit yourself coz you cant walk.

i live 2 miles from the suicide capital of britain beachy head i know someone who jumped from it and survived its a 500 ft cliff by the way he only survived cause he landed on a ledge he was there for 3 days b4 he was found he only lived becuase he sucked water out of the chalk in the cliff he jumped because he was a bit of a fat lad and couldnt take the people taking the piss anymore and also the fact his girlfreinds parents would not let him see her she was the only good thing in his life at the time he has made a full recovery now and is doing fine as far as know

as you know drew i work in a kids home with girls aed 10-18. there have been several occasions when the kids have tried, one b trying to hang herself with her bra and we have had a few tred to take overdoses.
what we have on a more regular basis is kids that self harm by either cutting themselves r swallonig clening products like bleach, shampoo and one even swallowed 3 bottles of nail varnish
as for anyone actually doing it when i was about 16 oe of my mates was diagnosed with diabetes and couldn't cope with it so he cut an air line from a pterol station and gassed hisself in his car

A lad who lives near me murdered his ex girlfriend then cut his wrists, he didnt die tho.
I think he's in some mental hospital now.

There was a guy in the street next to where i used to live who worked at a quarry, he had an argument and split up with his wife and kids, then when she wouldnt let him back in, he strapped dynamite round him and blew himself up in the front garden. Just remember hearin the massive boom, felt the air move and then all the emergency services screaming around.
One of the ambulance guys we were talking to said the guy had dandruff - they found his head and shoulders lying in the road...
