u can let sum1 else pay the rest mate, just cut your losses,finance is for ppl who like to pay more in the long run

Or finance is for people who cant get loans like me. I got my car when i was 18 and finance was all i could get. A year later i got a lower rate loan and saved money on the repayments.

You can seel it if you can prove to the buyer you will be settling the remainder of the finance after sale 
I got fuked coz i got a purchase hire agreement meaning i canny sell it.

take a loan out pay the finance off then pay the loan back when you sell the car

ring the finance and ask for a settlment figure first
in my case i had payed 2yrs with 2yrs remaining, the settlement figure they wanted was something like 3200, which the car wasnt worth
in the end i just give it back and walked away with nothing to pay.
Vauxhall finance then sold it at auction 2 weeks later for 2300!!

I got finance from a vauxhall dealer on my car, i asked the same question and they said that i could sell the car as long as i promised to pay off the existing amount on the car. It's depends if buyer trusts you cos it'll show up on the HPI check.
