For those of you that told me not to do it, I'm glad I ignored you.

It gives the car a lot more growl and also seems to pull so much more when 4k revs is hit. Before I didn't really get the 'back into seat' feeling but am deffo getting that now. Was meant to be going to Santa Pod this weekend but when I finally checked the website out I found out it was closed anyway. So, this Saturday I will be doing a before and after rr and then on Sunday I will go to Santa Pod and do a few before and after runs there. Think I will be impressed though feels so much more eager to rev.

Also, fuck knows how but since putting the kit on it seems to make the sound of a dump valve. When coming off the gas it sounds just like one and is very loud as well. Needless to say I got the money back for the dump valve as that would of been pointless. Can't say much about the plugs until I get the rr done.

Cheers.

I cant believe you put a 60 quid piperX air filter on a 10k car... dont be daft, they do not increase power, it might make you think it does, but it does not

I agree with sooty one this one. If I had you're car I'd be down at Courtenay Sport getting proper mods on the engine.

Colin, a panel filter is better on a turbo car as the filter is enclosed thus only suckin in cold air. A turbo car gets very hot and the induction kit ends up sucking in engine heat ultimatley losing power.

No, not sure why tho, im thinking this is because of where the hear is coming from, altho im sure theres a better reason.

Most Scoobys run performance panel filters.

For christ sake people. This is not permanant! It was just for a quick power hike for Santa Pod. In a couple of months I am going to get a phase 2 kit so will have the original box back in with probably a K&N panel filter and a few breather mods. Hopefully going to be pushing out around 250bhp just need to sell the Corsa first.

As for pictures. Sorry, was meant to take some this weekend at Santa Pod but didn't go cos I found out it was closed. Will get some next weekend though as I'm deffo going this Sunday!

your getting that DV noise becasue teh cars OE recic valve will be releasing air though the filter. OE airboxes quiten this down. even putting a cone filter on a car with an atmos valve makes it louder.
