Whats ypur mpg like? I do a 50 mile round trip to work 5 days a week and it's expensive enough in my 1.4 16V sport. I am looking at doing the 2.0 16V transplant soonish depending on petrol consumption and insurance.

Cheers

Shouldn't change by much if you kept the engine standard and drove sensibly.

My new car does between 170-200 miles to a full tank.

The Corsa did around 180 - 210 miles to a full tank.

I've been talking to my dad (owns a Vauxhall specialist garage that does transplants) about getting a 2 litre. He has advised me to drive a Corsa with a C20XE in before I get a transplnt in mine. Any volunteers?? I'm a good driver

Drove Adams bucket V1 and it twas good. You will have a drive and immediately want one. Sometimes I wish I hadn't bought the Punto and stuck a 2.0l in my old Corsa.

Patrick you gay lord, if you can only get 170 miles out of tank you need to have a serious sit down with yourself and think about your driving capabliltys.
