on the way to work, my own fault, not proud of it

AVERAGE of 73.5 in a 50 zone (and i braked hard when i saw him sneek up) thing is there was more than just me, i was keeping in the flow of traffic, but some how I am the one who gets the points

was in my mothers car, im fully comp and can drive other cars not in my name and shes insured on it so it will be ok

60 quid fine aint too bad, sets back my 2.0 16v tho

does 3 points make much difference, paying 590 on my corsa as it is?

cheers

marv

nah 3points makes hardly any change to insurance nowadays. Just dont do it again. You were lucky to just get 3 points and a £60 fine on that marv.

Usually when your fully comp and insurance say you can drive other cars third party only.
But read the small print because you may have to be over 25 to do so.....

unlucky fella. i got 3 points for doing 54 in a 30 zone. where the pics were taken were about 20 metres away from a change in lmit to 60 so pretty pissed off with that. i think thesafety camera peoplew jut issue standard fines wherever possible to keep the paparwork down. the punishment isnt the fine or the points but the fact i have to watch my back for 18 months as i had only been driving 6 months at that point

with regards to the insurance premium going up, i just called direct line and they said it would be on my record and would be taken into consideration on my next premium, the girl wudnt give me an approximation but iwill be pissed off if its about 10% like 3cm said

3 points, SP30? U'll be looking about £10 extra. Theres so many people with points for speeding these days that it doesn't really affect the insurance.

i fort u had to be fully comp and over 25 to be insured on any car too as it only came into effect on my policy this year and ive been with same ins comp for last 3. either that or its at each companys discretion.

like was said best to see for yourself

the increase will depend on your insurance company and your situation.

I went through a speed trap last night. was doing under 70 in a 60 limit. don;t know how much under but I will have to wait and see.
