mate i got a set of bulbs for my corsa c at the weekend from the car shop up here.
They are mad japanese efforts. Called "Type R Galaxy white" they are the equivelent of 90w bulbs apparently.
these are the best bulbs i have had, they cast a bright as fook light all over the road that looks likke daylight!
hunt these out!

If you dont mind paying £23 each PIAA do an E marked 55/60w bulb which puts out 105/110.
Brighest legal bulb and goes for miles!

Yeah Demon Tweeks sell them but there must be some where else that sells them cheaper(had 20% off my 1st set, had to pay full whack for the 2nd as my mate was off work).
One of the bulbs blew after a year, bout same time as my ring blue bulbs lasted.
WARNING- when main beam is on road signs dazzle as much as cars coming the other way, even turn them off when there's those big white/black arrows

dont bother getting road legal ones, ive had silly bulbs inmy car for 4 years and they passed every mot and never been pulled for them, they are more a safety feature than anything else, its not like you dazzle people with them on dipped

Local motor factors mate, but i believe they were a limited run.
I do have a part number for my brother's Rally ones (normal edition), which are still bright as anything! 80/110 i believe, but a proper pure bluey/green light, with loadsa purple when lookin at a side angle!

So you reckon I should get illegal ones, ok which ones are the best and how much and where from??
Also...... I guess if i do get stoped by the police they will just give me a warning, and then I will go home and put the old ones in..... and also do the same with the MOT i guess??

Cool so I will need to get 4 off the bulbs then.... so thats abotu £59, however powerbulbs are giveing you free W5W bulbs worth £9.99 so thats makes it sound good to me....
Think I will have to get some ordered.

Get illegal ones but keep the original ones in the glove compartment and if the filth pull you over tell them you felt safer driving with these in cos the original ones were too dim (a bit like them) be very apologetic and say "it just happens i have the originals here sir, ill fit them now sir, sorry for the inconvenience sir" then fit the old ones, when you bugger off, fit the illegal ones again and carry on your merry way.......i just sold a smart roadster to a copper and he had illegal plates on his corvette, said something about the car being exempt.......hypocrites........just for your information i razzed the bollocks off his car when i drove it back form the compound

if you could get me a part number mate that would be handy. Is there no where on the internet you know of that will sell these? Also a rough idea of the price?
Alan.
