most certainly was my car, just looked at the link on the scooby site, HMM piece of shite indeed, maybe they should have checked the spec out and tried keeping up through the local twisty roads with me, soon would have wiped the smile off their faces!!

but this does worry me that the car maybe involved in something dodgy, the car was sold to a member of this site so that is even more worrying!!!!!

thanks to YOYO for contacting me regarding this matter.

and if anyone can post on the Scooby site please could they post a link to this and I can if needed give details of the owner!!!!!

I sold the car to KRO and his mate off of here, so if anyone has a problem with the current owner them take it up with him.

I've replied.

Please can no-one create trouble there, I appreciate there are a number of comments very wide of the mark but lets rise about that for once.

I for one have lost some respect for that community as a whole.

Edited to say Tony - I appreciate your level-headedness on this, you could very easily (and quite justifiably) have flew off the handle there.

Does anyone have contact details for Kro? I'd rather he knows that random people start stalking the car over what could be nothing.

All a bit out of hand, scoobynet tends to be full of 'angry people' in my experience anyway, just ignore the comments, but I feel Kro should be told about this.

oh I agree patrick, it is very pathetic, unless that is of course your the person receiving inboxs full of racsist material and having viruses etc sent to you for no reason what so ever.

and yes it was sold as a 2L 8V but for 5 weeks before it was sold it was running a 16v engine on carbs and was fast as fook, my reason for not being all loud about it was that I was told through a freind that its not unknown for insurance companies etc to browse through sites like this and gather information, and much to my own disgust as the engine was only in for a short term, ( it was borrowed on approval form a mate that smashed his nova up) I didnt change the insurance straight away as decided that it was too expensive, so it went back to the 8V

I'm glad the current owner was able to put his side over on Scoobynet. This closes the issue I think.

Can I thank everyone for handling this in a way which has been a credit to the site and wider community.
