Right quick question,
I have to pick someone "important" up for work today, as he is coming for a meeting. The only problem is my car is filthy, and work wont let me have an hour off before I have the pic the guy up so I can wash it , Also they isnt a company car available to take, so Im going to have to use my own.
So Im going to have to go through a Car Wash ...... This will be the first time I have done it since I bought the car from new...
Will it be ok??
Will it get scratched?? (this is a one off)
Lastly will my 17" alloys be ok, they are the last thing I want to get scratched/damaged....
Cheers

sure it will be okay. if you remember few things. rinse it firstly with very much water on it. and when you start washing it go from up to downwards, but not from down to up, since the all s*it is down there.
there will be many better instructions later...

it is about the type of the car wash, if there is somethitng called brush free, i think that shoulnt do any damage.. so there is just water shower with lots force in it.

Why dont you use one of those power jet washer things, they have those in most garages, just be carefull when spraying flimsy parts like spoilers, splitters etc! GOOD LUCK

Yea I hate it when i take my corsa to a Jet Wash at a garage, cos it always leaves streaks in the paint - and its especially a pain for me because my car is black !

Jetwash? Just give it a hand wash/rinse/wax, jetwashes are too harsh.
