i have one of these alpine digital amp thingys n it keeps cutting out when i turn it up. error code says that there is too much current. have tried replacing cable between amp and sub but no change. also think that one of voice coils in sub has gone but not sure if this could be the cause????

any help would be appreciated

If one of your VC's had gone, youd know it, the sub would sound like it was 'farting' music.

safe mode aint on, have a dual voice coil sub but only had 1 wired up. have wired other 1 up n can go bit louder b4 it cuts off
