What speed do you normally sit at on a motorway?

Be Honest and dont go on about "its illegal to do over 70mph"

Im usually found between 80-85mph.

Speeding is illegal.

I'm sure I heard on the radio a month or so ago that motorways / dual carriage ways would be up'd to 80mph instead of 70.

Doing 80 isnt illegal - its just bending the very elasticity that the law hangs from

but why drive faster if ur not in a rush. just chill out n save money, n dont harm mr and mrs environment as much

and you dont save THAT MUCH time.

60 mph = 1 mile a minit
70 mph = 1.167 mile a minit
80 mph = 1.33 mile a minit

Drove from Midlands to Leeds at 55-60 slipstreaming lorries, saved loads of fuel lol. I try to stick under 100 at all times as if you get caught it's an immediate ban.

not over the space of a mile, but if your on a motorway you tend to be travelling a fair distance, so will build up!

at 80 mph your gonna do an extra 20 miles every hour than at 60mph - if your travelling for 4 hours theres 80 miles - i think thats quite a lot of saving time on a journey. I hate being stuck in my car for long journeys and driving 225 miles to where i surf would be a nightmare at 60 mph - it'd take like 5-6 hours
