Sounds sucky gentlemen

I posted yesterday that I wouldn't be coming - this was cause I was still up in Yorkshire in case some of you didn't know.

As for those that didn't say anything, shame on you! Doesn't take a minute to stick a reply in a thread does it?

Ok i think i went ait OTT on the this thread cuz i just looked back at the organising thread and there was like 5 people who actually said yes and then most of them pulled out at the end, so sorry to have ago me and nath should of realised but still the fact that we have tried to organise 2 meets now and no one or only a couple of people have turned up its a bit pathetic aint it really

If no one wants to meet thats fine just say so in the future

Ok folks, lets not let things get daft eh

We have a good region here, and there's no reason at all why we shouldn't be able to put together some decent meets.

Soooo, lets look at it another way - is there any particular reason for the last 2 meets being poorly attended? Is there something else we could do that would encourage people more? Or is it just a case of people making the effort?

I think we should set another date for say a couple of weeks time and all try and make a concerted effort to be there - we are capable of having a good meet, we've all proven that in the past so lets all get our fingers out and show that we can still manage this?

I had an excuse as I was in Yorkshire as well and did post I wouldn't be able to make it

The first meet was the best turn out and we only stayed in Bristol

Maybe people don't want to travel personally I don't care where meets are, I went to a west mids one with Trotty so don't mind travelling perhaps a poll could sort it out if people don't want to post

ok where would everyong like to have a meet, we all live in different places so everyone has to travel at some stage , maybe it would be an idea to change the location around to different places etc.. Im not bothered about travelling its just if i have to travel again to a meet thats not worth it i wont bother as like sam said it does cost me a fair bit (i know its my problem i new this before i brought the damm thing) but i ccan spend £25 on better things (like 2 KFC buckets mmmm chicken)

any ideas post them up , and like Jase said a poll on locations could be a good thing.

Nice one folks, thank you for some constructive points

I think we could do with setting a regular date perhaps - say the last Sunday of each month or whatever? At least if it's regular people know in advance, etc...

As for locations, I think most people would agree Weston's ideal really? Plenty to do, and it's a fair comprimise for most people for travelling?

I think it's more a case of keeping people interested really?

How about this then, we set a date for the next one for the end of the month - keep the location as Weston but meet late afternoon/early evening?

If that goes well, we can take things from there - BUT - it means we've all got to do our bit and make the effort
