I would say put it in a high interest account aswell, wouldnt waste it now!
Have it so you cant get it out until your 21 or whatever and you'll get a better interest rate!

Thats what I done when i came into some money, took out 2 PEP's, a few £k into shares in a couple of companies(worked for BP at the time so put as much as they would let me at the time), and bought my GSi Dont have the GSi anymore but in less than a year the investments + shares will be worth over £20k
Think about it before blowing all your nan's cash

Its just a High interest savings account, which you take out for a period of time (3 years mine was) and just leave it, interest builds up and is non-taxable I believe

No - not like buying shares, no risk at all - thats the good thing about them.
Top tip, buy some shares in an oil company and wait for the next terrorist attack - sept 11th they went through the roof, guy i worked with cashed all his, bought outrite his flat and came into work next again week with new car. Gotta be quick tho cause afterwards they fall. Wars are good for oil shares - harsh but true

is it just me or does the latter cost £1500 and the former cost £15000, a slight difference? Either way, fuck the Corsa, get a Mini, although you will have to wait several months, you will get a better car with better residuals.

I got quotes for a mini cooper when I got to 21 with 4 years NCD in my own name. Some wouldn't touch me. Those that would wanted over 2K and insisted I fitted a tracker!
