Failed on emissions.

Says one of the sensors is playing games. My engine management light was on when it went in for its mot, and as soon as i drove it away after it..... the light went out!!!

Anyway, it only passed on the natural idle speed test.

So what do yous think the problem is????

Oh, and dont hit me with this paperclip bullshit, cos it dont work on my 16 pin plug.

quite impossible to say with out reading the code on vaux, if you cant do it your self..
there is so many things in engine wich can be broken and cause bigger emissions.

lights is for that you know whats the fault in engine, there i no help on guessing...

i know the feeling cos i had something wrong ABS and what happened is that the light came out just when i drove in for mot and i failed it, and drived the car out and light went off... next week drove there again, light didnt came out and i passed it...

could be the lambda sensor, blowing exhaust etc

Put it in again for its retest (free) and the light came on again!!! so the guy turned it off and left it for 5 minutes then turned it back on and the light was off........... and it passed fuckn vauxhalls !!!

So what causes it to run richly????

Use the clip to find out

might be lambda, or too much fuel pressure, many things,again.

Kinda shit cos when the light isnt on, theres nout wrong so nothing will show on the reader........... got to wait till its on!!! nah...

wrong the ECU stores the fault code, just use the clip

the fuckn clip dont work on 16 pin 3 cylinder engines!!! My dad phoned the company that sells those testers from halfords and caused major shit cos the box states ALL vauxhalls/opels

Mine failed last year on lamba sensor that is the one on the exhaust manifold cost £90 all together with test
