I've heard the MGF are plauged by reliability problems off a few people and there was a lass a our work had one and I do believe it spent an No. of lenthy spells at the garage

The newer one the MGTF are meant to be far better cars than the original but neither of them are an competition to the VX220

Same engine as in the elise 111, 156hp 1.8 k-series... re reliability, with regular servicing it lasts <120k miles no problems.

Engine reliability is just bs talk.

mgf - get loads of faults on them, doors, boot etc leak all the time, brought it back to the garage to get fixed, 1 week later it was leaking again

Indeed are very gay! but still better than the mgf and less gay! more fun as well handles better than a lotus elise and yes i have driven one!
