The BBC 2 hit, Top Gear's crew were down at the Ace Cafe cruise tonight with the man himself - Jeremy Clarkson. They were filming all the cars around and doing interviews with some owners and Clarkson.
They got everyone in the ace cafe to move their cars and everyone to stand in a circle to let a beemer do a donut on camera...
No doubt, the result when it goes live is them showing all the crapped out nova's, going 'look at the maniac's that are doing this constantly' and showing the donuting and basically ripping the piss big style.
I spoke to the 'Editor' (since Jeremy looked a bit annoyed that he was forced to be there), p.s. I didn't realise it was the editor at the time hehe... he was just following clarkson about.
and I basically said 'Is this for top gear?' - He replied 'yes for the new series' - I was like 'cool cool' said a few other things and then said 'Hmm, shame we'll probably be made to look like total pricks'.
He said 'how do you mean?' - I replied 'Well, when they edit it - they'll probably just show a crapped out nova and make us all look like hooligans' - He then enlightened me saying 'Well, I'm the editor and I plan to take a fair view on it all.... ' - 'You gotta admit though, it is crazy!'
To which he walked off with clarkson.
Tonight was ok... Its been better at the ace - I think the cold weather stopped some people coming down, and they bloody had the mini roundabout coned off so there was no 'action!'. - Saw some mad Flamer Kits - one guy got his so he just lit the exhausts and they sat their flaming! and another one was coming out like a Afterburner and turned his normal metal exhaust a yellow / orange colour as it heated up so much!
Was good seeing a load of the CS guys down there, most huddled around snowy and his birds car. Spoke a bit to Chris Gray - haven't seen him on CS for ages, also put a name to a face with Matt B. Saw Stone Cold and Tam lurking around steve's car and kept watching Red-Sxi fly by as he cruised the strip (man do you ever get out of your car at the ace?)...
Shame a few people didn't make it who said they were coming - but anyway, wasn't a bad night. Bit disapointed I didn't get a race back home though - usually do coming back from this night - then come post on here and get a slagging off 
Anyway, Essay coming to a close...

Was a top night i reckon glad to see some familiar faces off cs there!!!!
 @ the Glitter/Rainbow Skyline and Turismo's Civic...alot of great cars there but so packed for such a small place.

Ah that civic - when it was rolling through the crowds with both scissor doors open it looked so good!
Steve's car was getting a lot of attention as per usual... I just can't see why? its basically a standard 1.2 8v corsa! 
Yeh probably go next month - but as it gets colder less people will probably come out, that was pretty empty compared to what it was like a couple of months back when it was nice and warm in a T-shirt.
Did you leave before the Beemer was donuting the ace?

Yeah i left when Steve and Hels were leaving, you talking bout the M3 with the red hot zorst? that was still parked gettin cherry red when i left!!!!!
Yeah as usual Steve's car got alot of attention esp wiv them tunes but i prefer Hels car

I think u should GTF Paul, i had parked my car for over 2 hours and went around looking at and filming all the cars in the Ace Cafe stand and around the edges. When u saw me i had decided to drive around a few times. I dont really like parking my car up in the Ghetto

Yeah was a pretty good night, nearly got frostbite tho Glad my car can still pull a croud considering all the mental cars that were there.

I got ur car on camera snowy. And yes white ppl are a minority there. There was a blue Almera owned by a group of asian girls and they were playing lots of bollywood tracks trying to show off their boot build LOL

Look mate i werent slating your gaff i was simply stating that in your area there is a large population of blacks and asains (minorities as Olly said) FFS!
Watford is becoming as bad as your way though, luckily not in my area!

Ok mate, only have a joke wit ya. Luton is the main shit hole, Dunstable isn't too bad especially my area.
I've never been to Watford sober so i don't kno wot its like, just talking from wot i've heard.
