Ok, looked at a white 1.6 16v Corsa Sport , R Reg, a few weeks ago. It is has been fully colour coded, 33,000 genuine miles and is immaculate.

The guy still cant sell it, and has reduced the price 2.5K (mates rates) shall i buy it?

Give it a damn good checking over, normal service history, cam belt tensioner/cam belt change (due at the current mileage).

If its clean, engine seems good, then i'd say deffo go and see him. Wave £2300 cash in his face, if he wants to ssell it, he'll take it, and u will have got urself a steal!!!
