u dont need too laquer flame red, no.
you should have cut out the bottom grill at the same time.

i did use cans yes, was gonna do bottom grill but it was trickier and would have taken ages

bottom grill is easier, you dont have that huge gap too bridge, other than that looks nice

that gap was a fcuker to cover, used mesh stuff to fill ova it.

yeah when i did mine i welded a piece of plastic in the gap, then fibreglass then filler, the fucker still cracked when i put it on. then the same happened when did it too my bros corsa. be very careful when you fit it.

flameredcorsab, you could try the PVD mesh grille
It takes a bit of work to fit to the pre97 bumper but its worth it

Mate - wot did u do once it was sprayed?
Coz if u T cut that down, it will get rid of all the imperfections, and bring the colour up to a better match, and make it look like a pro finish.
I had a pop at doin my spoiler, with vaux cans. Afterwards, the finish was crap, and thought to myself, ah sod bodyshop job. Got the T cut out, and it came up better than the rest of my car that had just been in for a full respray!!!!!!!!

Ive got a pre 97 bumper and was thinking bout cutting that sh1tty plastic thing away and putting a Kamei grill in, will i have to fill that hole if i do that???

Damn! Im shit with stuff like that! How much would a garage want for doing that? Im having the rieger rs kit for xmas, am i right in thinking that this doesnt come with a pre cut grill, cos dont it bond on below the plastic bits round the lights, correct me if im wrong

Super Damn, k then, next question (sorry bout this, im a corsa modding virgin!) do FK do a copy of the rs kit but as a whole bumper, which would you recomend i get??

I had an FK bumper for mine, sold it a While ago to Mark Petty off here, wonder if hes used it or not yet LOL!
They are good bumpers tho, quality is good for fibreglass and looks smoother than the extension IMO.
