right then,
Corsa Sport - i reckon u'll be looking at abround 200 quid to do ur car but that will include having all the texture flated off the mouldings and bumpers which aint as easy as u may think! and of course that would all be finished in 2k laq and flat n polished (but any good sprayer wont need to polish as his finish wont need it)
Kris TD - i use a range of different guns mate, got a 3 divilbiss GTI Gravity fed guns with different set ups, as at my bodyshop we use waterbased basecoat, both metalic and solid colour, and we use high solids 2k laq and direct gloss paint, so a gun 4 basecoat, d/gloss, and laq
if ur gonna be spraying metalflake then ur gonna be needing a larger fluid tip and then the correct aircap to supply enough air for the tip as i dont know what sort of size flakes ur using i really dont know which size tip ur gonna need, deff a larger one then recomended for 2k's
ChazSXi - easy mate it'll come in a white primer finish and u'll either need to key it with 3M Grey Scotchbrite (if u can get it) if not wet flat it with 1000 grade wet n dry all over, dont peel the sticker that covers the little irmscher badge, do that after its painted, then u've got 3 options
1- if u can use some spray equip then borrow and have a blast, paint ontop of the primer u've flatted,
2- get a rattle can from a motorfactor and do that, if its metallic u'll need laq, and this will go dull after time, u'll need to polish it regular
3- shop around bodyshops, u should be able to get it done in 2k for 60 quid as its really easy to paint and its small

yeah i saw a really nice divilbiss gti gun today, was £325 plus vat, bit expensive for home use but anyway i can still dream thought i did cos a smaller nozel will block up quite quickly with metal flakes i would imagine. think ill have to go hunting around cheers.

1. its cos you used t-cut on laquer, why did you laquer it, flame red is not laquered. you use rubbing compound on the red base coat and that will bring up the shine.
