Hi, sorry i'm still yapping on bout exhausts, but this is just a quick one i need help with

Just phoned power flow, and for the exhaust i want, they are asking £250 JUST FOR BACKBOX.

Anyway, i'd prefer to get the backbox i really like (RAGE slash cut flame burnt tip) separately.

However, does anyone know a place that will fit a universal back box??? I mean i might call up powerflow again, but dont wanna be ripped off.

Any ideas?

(BTW - the back box is stainless and needs weldin to what is currently a standard mild steel setup if that makes a difference)

cheers

Just called powerflow - they want £120 just to fit a back box!!!!!! Thats mental. Plain stupid.

Might end up buying an exact fit backbox from another company at this rate, coz they are havin a laugh aint they!??

I went into a motor shop the other day and asked about the rage exhausts, and apparantly the non-stubby ones are a bitch to fit as there too long.

I was looking into getting a 4" flame burnt tip with a carbon box, but i still might get one and get a garage too fit it for me.

hmm yeah i'm thinkin go to a little garage to get it done.....but wot will the quality be like I'd really like the Rage box, but hopefully it is fittable to a 306, coz lookin underneath, doesnt seem to be much room between the backbox and axle!

thanks for quick response by the way!

Yeah i think thats what the guy said bout me corsa the box wont fit over the axle. I had a 4 inch on me old 205 though and sounded so it's either the same one (£70 of the rage site) and get it fitted, or a scorpian imola 3.5"

yeah....i best start lookin then. I aint payin anything over £150 for a back box, thats just mental really. I'll get myself an exact fit one, and fit it myself.

Just a case of gettin a good un now. I can always get rest of system uprated at a later date i suppose.

Matt

PS: but i want a rage box still!! lol any recommendations of a similar 1?

i dont think i really want a slash cut any more - the styling i'm goin for wont really suit it.

I think a nice SS oval or summat similar would be nice.

Thanks for all ur help - any more ideas on brands to go for wud b great. In fact, any websites that sell em at reasonable prices would be

cheers

You'd be looking at about £150-£160 for a back box and about £300-£330 for a full S/S system
