Yes i feel it is a good op sys, its designed to work well within a win 2k enviornment so i think more companies should go with xp pro instead of 2k now.

its an easy system to configure, code and rip to shreds when ya bored, i find the administrational system tools helpfull and the network sut up great, the firewalls a bag o wank and the americanised first install (keyboard setting n clock) the start menus crap till you remove a few clutered things and the home edition was poo and not a stadle compaired to the pro edition, the msblaster virus was a joke and im surprised xp as a fresh state is to vunable to this act of wankery. overall i like it but its nothing great enough to write a huge post about it....

hmmmm, think i just contradicted myself there.

I use XP Home on my home PC, and Win2k on my work PC, although my work PC has a better hardware spec, it's actually slower than my home PC.

Probably to do with all the networking crap it runs, and nothing to do with the OS really.
