i cant get my oven to work

how am i sposed to cope for 3 weeks home alone with no oven?!?!?

when i was pissed one mornin i tried to cook a pizza for my mate, kept checkin it every 20 minutes and after 4 and a half hours i was really confused to y it was stil quite frozen....realised the next day that id forgotten to switch the oven on

i turn the oven on, whack it up to 220 degrees but the light dont come on to say its warming up. i discovered that if i tweiddle the knob on the clock the light comes on but i dont know what exactly this will make the oven do and dont wanna risk it
