Anyone heard of those Phase Linear subs, they say thier supposed to take unlimited power. RMS=Unlimited, Is this all bollocks? If not they sound good. About 500quid a piece.

Fuck knows. there sayin that it can handle anything you can throw at it. So you could run one of them at 50 000watts and it should handle it fine. Seems a bit far fetched to me but thier the experts.

Just looked on the site and here > http://www.phase-linear.com/html/aliante_si.html it says the "Aliante 12" LTD. SI
" has an unlimited power capacity but on its Data sheet it says "Power handling rms/max 500/100watts" Does it have unlimited power handling or not!!!!!!!

I very much doubt it,
every sub will have a cut off point where if you push to much juice into it, it will just blow,
Where it says 500rms i would sujgest thats that optimum for the sub
