Getting Clifford concept 300 on monday. Just wondering if i can get my doors to dead lock so some git can't pull the door frame back and pull up the pin or smash the window and use the interior door handle.
Heard that corsas come with deadlocking as standard but does work with alarm/central locking beause u have to use the key. Just wondering if with my concept 300 it could control deadlocking...

dont think it can be done wit the alarm bro.
never heard it donew b4 but i could be wrong.
my passenger door deadlocked when i was trying to fit leccy windows and i had to break the lock to get it open and then fit a new central locking unit.... luckily my m8 had one spare....
the door was closed at the time which was a bit of a bugger tryin to strip it when it was still closed..........

ohh dear mate. can't be good when the door is shut.
Hmm my mate mentioned that he had a toad alarm that done it.
i might jsut take out the door pins if the interior handle does open the door when its locked.

yeah just been out in my car and pushed the pins down to lock the doors. if you try using the door handle then it doesn't unlock and open the door.
So removing door pins would stop theifs from opening your door and also if they couldn't see the pins, they might not even try busting open yous door

Yeah i think my 94 SRi does too. but you have to use the key to do it. But this would mess up the alarm.

well everytime your arm the alarm and it locks the car with central locking. you would have to unlock the dooor wit hthe key and lock it again. and do this for every door i guess :-(

to activate teh deadlocks the car needs to be locked you just turn key round further.
to deactivate them you just rotate the key the other way, without unlocking the car, so it doesn't muff up the alarm....
although it does defeat the object of having remote locking....

It is possible to deadlock your car remotely. Safe and Sound in Manchester did this to the Corsa in my garage. 0161 370 4751 if that helps although sorry that they're not local!

On the C's you just press the lock button twice and it dead locks them. Easy really.
Should be able to patch it into an alarm, but on a corsa B that doesnt do it as standard I dunno.

Yeah they needed a new passenger lock motor for mine. Basically the drivers unit from a left hand drive vehicle. Incidently this has a Vauxhall part number and UK dealers can supply.
I'm sure there's a thread or three from a few years ago about this!

so if youve delocked the passenger side, would it just be a fit the alarm up to the central locking and sort out the deadlock on the passenger side?

can't the deadlocking be hooked upto the deadlocking mechanism? is it done by motors or mechanically?
