I took off my side strips last night and and once I got them all off it looked sweet until I saw a grey strip down my passenger rear panel!!!!!!!!!!!

When I looked closely the laquer was on top of the grey strip so I think this is a vauxhall fuck up boggle:

What do you think????????

Do you think I should go back and claim it under warrenty??????????

Cheers

You cannot claim this under warranty!! They will just ask why you took the rub strips off. Maybe a damn good polish with t-cut my cure it.

The paint had faded so much under the bumpstips I tried everything, coloured T-Cut, polish, wax etc, nothing worked.

It was a respray job im afraid If it was like the above.

you can't claim it under warranty because you caused the damage yourself.all they would do is stick new bump strips on and charge you for it.

out 1.5 years ago i think. Had the strips on for toooooooooo long, then took em off to find that.

Then it rolled down the drive, so it was like, sh*t, can't get one side resprayed, might as well get the whole lot done

Try Vauxhall, when you come home with no outcome, get them sprayed in the colour of your car and stick them back on

exactly.

its nothing to do with vauxhall. YOU pulled off the rub strips which come on the car. Vauxhall didnt do it, YOU did.

Sorry to hear about that

But sorry to say that I did mention it in your other thread that I had heard of bad stories puling sid estrips off!!

Also it is nothing to do with vauxhall. YOU pulled off the rub strips which come on the car fitted to the car as standard therefore you pulled a part that should have been there.
