Previously I had enquired to several places about hring the grounds for speed trials. York was too expensive and the pod is not an option either. the timing gear can be hired and the guy to use is for not such an expensive fee depending onthe numbers we could get together. I have e.mailed brunnters again to re-enquire after they failed to phone me back ( probably worked for an insurance compnay before).

Pod is not an option because for most people it will mean traveling over 300 miles just to get there

Have to bare in mind mate, that we have corsasport members from every corner of the UK.

Around this London/Essex/Herts/SE corner, we have the largest proportion of the corsasport group by far. York is still 250+ miles away from us, so at the end of the day, a "central" location will never be central to everyone

Yep.. and still 200 for people in scotland... we have about 15-20 people from Scotland wanting to come to this so the pod is a no no, gotta be somewhere central.. unless you wanna go to crail?

Was thinking that about a few but then as scottish peeps say it's always down south init should be more midlands or northern this time, shame york is sooooo expensive but we could see how much it is for say 100 cars (mix of vvoc and cs )

lol no thanks.

I mean its quite a tricky situation, coz obviously both parties are going to need to drive a fair distance. Most people will also need to stay over at the location, so a hotel/travel inn wud be a must. Could turn it into a massive National CS meet at the same time!
