Ive forgotten how to get out of the platform stage of the first bit you play.....

i clear the stage then it does it again and again - ive done it 13 times now and just want to get on with the game!

Well that is basically the game then.... are you playing it on a gameboy? Turn it off then choose super mario bros next time.

Seriously, the gameboy Super Mario Advance games have the really old game, as well as Super Mario Bros or World on them.

Probably involves carry a turnip or whatever you pick up from the ground through a door. Aint playes it in years though. Check that site, there will be a walk through.
