...as it needs a new gearbox.

my engine mounts went a month ago and the engine dropped onto the gearbox, this must have broken something inside and its come out last nite through the gearbox casing, making a massive hole.

so im guna sort the gearbox and then maybe sell it for a 106 gti

only had it 10 weeks

there are loads of places you can go, it's not a bad job as i done mine recently.

BB tuning do it for £800
Renaults charge £470 for recon box but as your casing is broken they will add a surcharge.
5alive could provide you with a second hand one!
There are a few going on Cliosport if you enquire.

I did mine in a week and that was evenings only !

If you could get the car to us then we'd be happy to do it.

you'd be a fool to sell it, as you could repair it for

£200- £300 second had box
all other bits from BB tuning:
Engine coolant £15
Gearbox oil £16
Clutch £77 if needed, but recommended.
Power steering fluid £10

Job is fairly stright forward, and the wiring loom and ECU comes out with the engine.

R5 engine is very prone to blowing head gaskets. if your going to put a turbo in the 16V then you need to do the BB tuning conversion 315BHP from the low compression conversion.

a brand new reno one will be £800
i could get a 2nd hand one for much cheaper

the expensive part is the labour costs as the whole engine has to be lifted out
