I wanna bring my car down to uni but im worried the insurance company will say no because its insured under my mums name, i dont think the insurance company will let me park it in bournemouth when the registered owner lives in guildford?? Any ideas? Cheers, james

they wish to charge more because you'll be the main driver. however you should get it insured on your own name anyway
