is it best to wire them to an amp or to head unit cause i have an amp but not sure how to wire it up ne help please

almost always better to wire them up to an amp. All you have to do is run the signal cable from the head unit to the amp, and then connect the speakers to the outputs on that. What wattages are the speaker and amp?
