0-100mph times are basically.... shite!

will do a nippy 0-62mph sprint but not amazing for a 1.8 16v hatch

Will be better when the flagship Gsi Turbo comes out. Vauxhall have apparently decided on the 160bhp 1.6 Turbo version. They were looking at putting in the much used 192 bhp (ish) 2.0 litre Turbo Now that would hav been quick and with a few mods and tweaking of the boost it would hav been an animal.

Sure the 1.6 will be great anyway, not to mention will probably be alot more nimble through the corners with a lighter 1.6 lump.

Just want to point out that I am aware that if a corsa speedo says 150 or 140 or whatever, it will not be doing anything near that!

ok the Corsa 1.8 will do 120-125 mph max. 0-60 is goodish, i can do it in 8.7seconds, and mines a B 1.6 Sport. The new Corsa GSi will definately be a 1.6 Turbo with 175bhp, and probably around 170-180lb/ft torque. Will do 0-60 in under 7 seconds before pouncing on to 140mph. Looks great IMO, and will be introduced with the new look body and tweaked chassis
