I thought these were supposed to be like as much as the Viper ~ £200 ish?
But at larkspeed they've got em starting from £79.95 ? The pipe is extra though.
Is this a good buy? Better than an ordinary un-shielded cone ?

the cone is 80, the air ducting (the extra bit attached to it ) is 40
both together work well
i think the viper is carbon fibre shield, this aint

Ahh cool, cheers
This has an aluminium shield doesn't it.
So is it meant to be good ? Maybe not as great as a viper, but atleast better than a cone? Better than a normal cone with a heatshield, or better than a drilled airbox ?!

cool !, cheers
& excuse the stupid question, but on this pic :
I take it the actual filter clamps on where the airbox used to be, and then that pipe goes at the grill ?
Or, is that long pipe there so that you can position the filter further away from the engine ?
I suspect the first of the two ?

first of the two, filter clamps onto your air flow meter, possibly with a reducer neck.

not a very good example i know but the red pipe came with the viper and goes onto the air intake pipe then onto the end of the filter. does somethin like this come with this twister filter or is it somethin extra u need to consider?

Thanks Kerry
Yeh I think you need to buy the pipe seperate on the Twister, but the DynaTwist comes all the bits ?
Do you think that's the reason for the price difference ?

I am not 100% sure. It says for the DynaTwist : "All kits are supplied with the necessary tubing and fitting materials"
But for the Twister it is not clear.
However I have just noticed it says for the Twister - "NOTE: These are not suitable for Turbo Charged vehicles"
Would you say that includes Turbo Diesels ?
